ST. LEONARD'S CHURCH
Church marked by successive wars, with a flamboyant Gothic-style portal from the 15th century in Honfleur
Like the city, Saint-Léonard church lived through the successive wars. Built in the 12th century, it was destroyed by the English in the 15th century during the Hundred Years’ War, then rebuilt after the conflict, before being demolished again, this time by Protestants, during the Religious Wars. Numerous tests and reconstructions that today give the monument its atypical architecture that features various influences. For example, you can admire its flamboyant 15th-century Gothic-style portal, its more recent 18th-century clock dial, or its side portal built in the 17th century. Note the presence outside of several fountains and the Saint-Léonard washhouse that is still used today.

Particulièrement intéressant le banc d'oeuvre et les bénitiers à décors marins à l'entrée.
