SMALL ALPHONSE ALLAIS MUSEUM
The world's smallest museum! A zygomatic showcase dedicated to Honfleur writer Alphonse Allais and his earthy inventions.
Following the closure of the Passocéan pharmacy, where the museum was located, the museum now houses a collection of unusual objects that once belonged to Alphonse Allais, and above all the truculent inventions of the Honfleur-born best-selling author known for his caustic, sarcastic humor. This (very!) small 8m2 museum, the smallest in the world, is run by Jean-Yves Loriot, who personalizes the tours and, since 1999, has spiced up the itinerary with anecdotes and puns.
