It's so good to be at Les Halles. Opposite the covered market, a beautiful brasserie whose motto "Le sens du goût" is quickly adopted. Franck and Caroline's table has been delighting us for almost 20 years, with both established favourites and new offerings. Depending on the market and the season, we taste ultra-fresh fish, mature meats with homemade sauces and fries, early vegetables... The food is beautiful and tasty, and the service is adorable. Open Thursday to Monday, lunchtime from 12pm to 3pm and evening from 7pm to 11pm. Reservations recommended. Les Halles is a brasserie located just a few steps from the beach in Houlgate, opposite the covered market. The restaurant is famous for its traditional dishes subtly revisited. In Caroline's kitchen, everything is home-made and prepared with fresh products. The menus vary according to the availability of ingredients and the seasons. Among the dishes offered, you have the choice between tuna tataki, smoked Scottish salmon, and red mullet pie. For dessert, your heart will sway between the profiteroles with hot chocolate, the pistachio and raspberry tart, or the baba savarin. The establishment offers a beautiful wine list to accompany your dishes. Franck, as a good sommelier, will be happy to advise you.
