SAN MARTIN CHURCH
Church featuring the magnificent stained glass window, a love gift from Cardinal Nicolas de Pellevé to Elisabeth de Rohan in 1593
The oldest church in the city. Probably built in the 11th century, originally an oratory dedicated to St. Martin, it is made of schist and granite, and consists of a main nave and two secondary naves. Its bell tower dates from the 15th century. Do not hesitate to visit the interior, if only to admire the choir illuminated by three flamboyant gothic windows, the magnificent stained glass window, a love gift from Cardinal Nicolas de Pellevé to Elisabeth de Rohan in 1593, or the church's organ, recently restored.
