Built from 1851 to 1864 at the request of Frederick William IV (his statue is in front of the entrance), it is the last of the castles built in the park. This superb orangery is a must see for its architecture inspired by the Italian Renaissance, its terraced gardens, its marble statues and its Raphael room, which is equipped with copies of the painter's works. From the platform at the top, there is a magnificent view of the park. From here, you can also easily reach the small Drachenhaus (dragon's house) and the Klausberg lookout.
