A restaurant of authentic Balinese cuisine. The food is excellent... and admittedly a bit spicy. A rijstaffel includes about fifteen different flavors from starter to dessert, including the famous smoked duck (bebek tutu
). A vegetarian version is also available. Roasted duck in a banana leaf or a Balinese seafood menu are also on the menu. There are also Balinese cooking classes: Heinz Holzen has also written a book The Food of Bali, which is very interesting because it contains 75 recipes of Balinese cuisine.Did you know? 1400000 Rph 2 for an Arak, Rijstaffel and a bottle of pink Balinese, it is really very expensive for Bali.
The service is polite but too in a hurry. We did not have time to enjoy our arak.
Even battle for Rijstaffel, you disencumbers barely finished sun-drenched.
The meal was good but not so impressive that. We had and enjoyed as well the day before in cooking classes (not in Bumbu Bali).
The decor is dark (in the evening) and if " exotique" how that!
Bumbu Bali is a reputation thanks to the upmarket hotel park corner.
Dare anything else!
