PURI SAREN AGUNG UBUD - ROYAL PALACE OF UBUD
Palace built in the late century, a complex of historic buildings where descendants of the royal family reside.
Admission to this beautiful complex of buildings, built in the late 19th century, is free. It was here that Ubud's monarchs, the Sukawati clan, reigned, and it is said that the king liked to watch the activity of the market opposite (and the women who went there) to gauge the economic situation of his kingdom. In fact, if some parts of the market are closed to the public, it's because descendants of the royal family still live there.
