The "Meru's" little brother, the hotel shares the same space and restaurant, with a slightly less upscale approach. Unlike its counterpart, it has just one swimming pool, where most morning activities are concentrated. A little background: the former Bali Beach Hotel, built in 1966 by former leader Soekarno, was one of Bali's first large hotels. Its aim was to boost tourism in Sanur. Today, the renovated hotel offers one of the finest ocean views, thanks to its height, in front of one of the most beautiful beaches.
