VILLA DUNIA

We loved being able to practice while on holiday. It was a great way to start the day for us and we loved the class. We took advantage of the discounted rate for 5 classes and were very happy with our choice!
We brought our two daughters along for 2/3 of the classes and they were able to swim in the pool while we practices which was a lifesaver for us. The lovely Seanne/Sean also did a quick little class for the children… which I think says everything about the type of person she is! Thank you Dunia and a special thank you to Seanne/Sean (????), we loved meeting you and your awesome energy!! ????

In the yin yoga teacher training:

Delphine Berclaz: “If I see any one you put a bolster under your head in savasana, I will come and kick it out from under your head. “

Proceeds to demonstrate the kick and repeats the same abuse for effect.

Violent, trauma inducing training as validated by a trauma expert I had to consult and seek treatment for.

I really enjoyed the personal development I got out of this experience. All three staff members, Audrey, Ra Ra and Delphine were so helpful through the whole process. I hope to come back to this little island one day. The morning meals were fantastic, it was a bit tough to focus with the humidity ( floor fans would be a good idea). I loved that there was a pool on the grounds to cool off at and it was a very inviting environment.

I had a lesson with Delfine. She seemed very annoyed that I was struggling to find the right pose, as it was new for me. She even sad that she never experienced something like this before. Made me feel very unsafe, insecure and stressed. She kept saying that I had to relax, but it was impossible to to with her negative energy and behavior. I also couldn’t hear her because of the music, which seemed to make her more annoyed. I came here to learn something but sadly I left feeling criticized and sad. It’s weird because acceptance seems to be a big part of yoga, but it seems she might need some time to relax and think about how she can integrate acceptance in her lessons. Looking at the other reviews, I hope she just had a bad day. I never write a (bad) review but hopefully this feedback will help improve your lessons so other people can enjoy it ????????
