This restaurant, a "hidden nugget", is located on the outskirts of Ubud, near the Gunung Kawi temple. Admittedly, the place is a bit pricey, but the menu is delicious and refined. If you're vegetarian, it's not always easy to find options, but here you've come to the right place, and the dishes are incredible: fresh, colorful and tasty. The service is adorable too! You'll enjoy excellent food, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. Recommended for a special occasion, or a romantic dinner.

Designed in traditional Balinese architectural style, this restaurant is a hidden nugget inside the Puri Gangga Resort Ubud in Tallalang. Located not far from the Gunung Kawi temple, Kailasha offers a unique culinary experience with panoramic views of the ancient Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu royal bath, rice terraces and tropical plantation. With a capacity for 60 guests, the establishment offers authentic Balinese and Indonesian cuisine in a heavenly setting. Among the specialties to be sampled, try the Poké Bowl Gangga, made with pan-fried pieces of tuna and rice with vegetables. Also discover the Nasi Kuning, an authentic Indonesian specialty, with a yellow rice cone, fried chili egg and crackers. The menu also includes familiar Western dishes such as spring rolls, revisited Caesar salads, spaghetti marinara, bolognese or carbonara, as well as Thai red curry. For lovers of sharing, pizzas are on offer, as are sweet desserts such as palm-sugar braised black rice pudding or rolled coconut with dragon fruit.
