A water garden with fountains, public pools and statues, a pleasant place to visit in Tirtagangga.

Built between 1946 and 1950 by Anak Agung Anglurah (former king of Karangasem), this water garden includes fountains, ponds and statues, providing a very pleasant tranquility. Destroyed during the eruption of the Agung volcano, it was fortunately restored in the early 2000s with funds raised in various countries. Since then, the palace has been embellished every year. The public pools in the garden are accessible for an additional fee. A very nice visit, to mark on your agenda.

Ce palais bien que moyenement grand est tres beau et le cadre magnifique (vegetation/ arbes allentour). Vous pourrez y faire de magnifique photos pres de l'eau! Nous avons pu egalement voir une ceremonie dans un petit temps dans les jardins du Palais

superbe quand on peut éviter la foule
je vous conseille de visiter ces jardins très tôt le matin ou en fin de journée, sinon ce sera beaucoup plus difficile de faire des photos sans être au milieu de la foule. Le matin, avant l'arrivée des visiteurs, c'est très paisible et splendide. Le meilleur moyen pour y être très tôt est de loger sur place.

Très bel endroit mais y aller surement quand il y a moins de monde car en juillet août il y a trop de touristes ce qui rend la visite quelque peu désagréable. A visiter toutefois.

Le parking étant petit, ne pas hésiter à se garer le long de la route.
Super jardin agrémentés de piscines avec de très belles sculptures d'animaux d'ou jailli l'eau.
Le passage sur les plots de la première piscine est une étape incontournable, sachant que d'énormes carpes déambules sous nos pieds.
Un charme fou.
