Visit the remarkable waterfalls at Munduk, the most beautiful and wildest in the region, and enjoy a swim.

One of Bali's most impressive natural wonders. It consists of six to seven narrow waterfalls, forming the heart of a verdant valley surrounded by bamboo forests. To reach the waterfalls, hike through the village of Sekumpul, about an hour southeast of Lovina Beach. The trail offers picturesque views of the surrounding rice paddies, plantations and forests. You can bathe in the refreshing waters or simply admire the beauty of the waterfalls and their lush surroundings.

depuis le petit parking voiture, on peut aller à pieds au début de la promenade ou en mobilette, avec des locaux qui sont là toute la journée. De là, on descend 400 marches, très hautes et irrégulières et on se retouve dans le bas de la vallée, où on peut voir plusieurs cascades en quelques centaines de mètres. C'est superbe, on traverse plusieurs fois la rivière donc prévoyez des tongs ou chaussures pouvant aller dans l'eau. On peut se baigner au pieds des cascades si on n'a pas peur du froid! La remontée des marches est assez épuisante quand on n'a pas une bonne condition physique, mais ça vaut le coup!

Très belles cascades. Il y a eu de monde ce qui permet de préserver le charme de la forêt de Munduk. Les "tours guidés" proposés par les hôtels peuvent être un plus si l'on veut des informations sur la faune et la flore.
