Mangrove located at the western end of Bali Barat Park, can be explored by pirogue, with boatmen available.
The western end of the park includes the mangrove swamps. While some hikes in the park include a pirogue ride through the mangroves, you can also hire a boatman to explore them at your leisure. The mangroves are located in the cove formed on one side by the Prapat Agung peninsula and on the other by Gilimanuk Point. They are inhabited by fiddler crabs (so named for their huge orange claws), macaques and egrets.
