SOURCES CHAUDES DE BANJAR
These thermal baths and hot springs, nestled in lush vegetation, offer an unforgettable experience. Well signposted from the main road, they're easy to find. If you're coming from the monastery, take the road back down to Banjar Tega, turn left in the village center and follow the road for about 1 kilometer to Banjar. A sign in the village center indicates the direction and distance: "Air Panas; 1 km".
Open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., these springs have a restaurant with rustic cabins for changing. Hot water gushes from eight snakes in the first pool and five snakes in the second, creating a unique ambiance amidst tropical vegetation. The resort's restaurant offers traditional Indonesian cuisine at an affordable price, ideal for regaining your strength after a relaxing bath.
The slightly sulphurous water in the third pool transforms into a 3-meter-high waterfall, offering a soothing spectacle and a pleasant temperature, especially in the morning or late afternoon. Naturally, washing in the pools is forbidden to preserve their purity.
These springs, with a sulfur content of 26% and a temperature of ± 38°C, are renowned for their healing properties. The 3 main pools allow you to take full advantage of these beneficial waters. Whether you're looking to relax or heal, these thermal baths will provide you with a memorable moment of serenity.
