Hard to find cheaper than the Saewha Hostel in downtown Seoul. Just a short walk from Insadong and less than 20 minutes walk from the Changgyeonggung Palace, this unpretentious hotel offers affordable double rooms with breakfast (coffee and toast) and a washing machine. It's not the most flashy hotel in town (far from it), but it's really cheap and therefore a good option for small budgets. You can also, for a small extra charge, bring your pet (which is unusual for a hotel).
