It is one of the oldest clothing markets in the South Korean capital. Among its more than 2,000 shops, it is especially renowned for its hats and various small accessories. Second-hand books can also be found there. Originally, this market was mainly made up of North Korean refugees who settled here at the end of the Korean War and made cheap military clothing for American soldiers. To buy or to stroll around, they are happy to go there.
