Museum hosting temporary exhibitions by Korean and international artists, small café and digital space on site.

Opened in 2013, the Seoul branch of this museum is housed in a beautiful building built on one of the former sites of the Ministry of Defense, the same site where many democracy activists were tortured. The MMCA hosts temporary exhibitions of Korean and international artists.
In this vast complex, there is also a small café and a digital space where many books on art are freely available. A must see, if only for the architecture.

Grand complexe d'art contemporain visité au hasard d'une journée de balade entre les 2 palais et dans le quartier traditionnel de Séoul. Une exposition sur mai 68 avec des œuvres françaises s'y tenait pour le clin d’œil. Les salles sont très grandes. Les œuvres et expositions permanentes et temporaires sont souvent monumentales. La visite n'est pas si longue si l'on n'est pas un grand passionné d'art contemporain. On se perd un peu entre les étages. J'ai apprécié les boutiques avec des objets modernes comme traditionnels pour tous les budgets

Un immense complexe moderne, disposant de toutes les technologies Hi-Tech pour une muséographie luxueuse et d'avant garde De bonnes peintures et sculptures modernes et contemporaines et un immense magasin de vente grand comme une superette de sous-préfecture française.
Rien de très passionnant toutefois ! à voir pour sa démesure.
