AMALIE
A small, stylish and typically Danish restaurant where you can enjoy herring(sild) in all its forms.
A beautiful address located rue Amaliegade. The building was built in 1754-1755 for the butcher Jan Jansen by the famous architect Nicolai Eigtved. Above the door you will see a stone plaque with the year 1745 and the initials of the builder JJSB for Jan JanSen Bødker. A small, stylish and typically Danish restaurant, where you can enjoy herring (sild) in all its forms, before attacking a more substantial dish, based on fish (plaice or salmon) or meat (pork tenderloin, for example). A kitchen that satisfies!
