SCANDIC PALACE HOTEL * * * *
A cosy establishment designed by architect Anton Rosen, with classic, comfortable rooms.
We like the location, on Rådhuspladsen, in front of the city hall, but also the brick building dating from 1910: a rare example of Art Nouveau, designed by the architect Anton Rosen, dominated by a slender belfry. Rosen also designed the interior, but everything has been transformed since then. The Palace Hotel has a muffled atmosphere and spacious rooms of 20 to 60m2, rather classic, very comfortable with colorful notes in the decoration. Some of them have a balcony with a breathtaking view of the main square.
