COPENHILL
Summer skiing in Copenhagen, how about that? Then it's on to Amager Bakke, another name for Coppenhill. Your choice: black or red?
"Amager Hill" is a waste incinerator located in the industrial area of Copenhagen. Recognizable by its distinctive silhouette, it was built between 2013 and 2016 to the designs of architect Bjarke Ingels. Apart from providing energy through the combustion of waste, the site offers many sports and recreational activities. Indeed, the sloping roof hosts four dry ski slopes, hiking trails and an urban park. One of the walls is an 80-meter high climbing wall. Adrenalin is yours!
