CHURCH OF FREDERIKSBERG (FREDERIKSBERG KIRKE)
This small Dutch Baroque church in Copenhagen was home to the Dutch community transferred from Amager.
Opposite the entrance to the park stands a small octagonal church with ivy-covered walls and a roof topped by a central bell tower. Completed in 1734, it is the oldest church in the neighborhood. It was built in the Dutch Baroque style to accommodate the Dutch community transferred from Amager. It was therefore an architect from the flat country, Felix Dussart, who was in charge of the construction. It has an altarpiece by C. W. Eckersberg. Enter the beautiful and immaculate nave to rest a while!
