BUILDING LØVENBORG - HOTEL SAVOY
A building by Danish Art Nouveau architect Anton Rosen, distinguished by its splendid facade.
You must take the time to admire this building (today the Savoy Hotel), built in 1906 by the architect Anton Rosen, master of Danish Art Nouveau (he is also the creator of the Palace Hotel on Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville). Mixing sandstone, wrought iron and glass, the facade has regained all its original splendour. Feel free to come in! The staircase decorated with stucco and woodwork... and the lift, the first one installed in Denmark and still in use, are worth seeing.
