Majestically placed on the harbour, this New Royal Theatre designed by Boje Lundgaard and Lene Trandberg was inaugurated in February 2008. It's located almost across the street from the Opera House. There are three auditoriums of different capacities, but above all a huge hall open to the water housing a café and restaurant. Outside, a footbridge made of oak slats connects Nyhavn to Langelinie: the view is splendid and it is an ideal retreat in case of rain!
