UNDERGROUND RUINS OF CHRISTIANSBORG CASTLE
An unusual place in an underground atmosphere, home to the remains of Absalon's stone fortress and brick castle.
One of the most unusual places in the capital. Beneath the present castle were discovered the remains of the first two buildings: the stone fortress of Absalon and the brick castle that succeeded it in 1369. One walks among the foundations of the two lines of walls. Numerous informative panels and models of the five successive castles allow you to find your way around the different chronologies. This in a somewhat mysterious underground atmosphere. The younger ones will love it!
