ROYAL STABLES AND CARRIAGES
Stables featuring white Kladuber horses, introduced in 1994 at the request of the Prince Consort.
These stables are still in operation and are home to the white Kladubers, introduced from the Czech Republic in 1994 at the request of the Prince Consort. Their specificity is that they are born with a black coat that turns completely white afterwards! You can sometimes watch their training in the quarry. Inside, a small museum recalls the equestrian life of the castle. Superb marble stalls and exhibition of the various official carriages used by the court.
