SØNDERMARKEN
This contemporary park of Fredericksberg, with a more rugged relief since it has a few (modest) hills, has retained a wilder aspect. It is the paradise of the joggers who take advantage of its wide straight alleys enamelled with a few buildings including a "Norwegian house". The central alley leads to the Cisternerne converted into an art museum. See the Memorial Mount, the "hill of memory", financed in 1925 by Danish immigrants to the United States. Entrusted to the talent of Anders Bundgaard, the latter sculpted a woman, Denmark, embracing her children.
