The Østerbro area encompasses the northern part of Sortedams Sø, one of the three artificial lakes, former drinking water reservoirs, separating the old town from the suburbs. Surrounded by coffee terraces and reserved for pedestrians, joggers and cyclists, the western shore of the lake is a pleasant shady walk along the lake where swans and ducks go more or less majestically. A pleasant place to swim in the grass, in the beautiful days, with a book.
