In the heart of Meatpacking was born in 2002 this underground gallery. Two friends, the designer Jesper Elg and the photographer Peter Funch wanted to exhibit the emerging contemporary creation, partly stemming from street art. Banksy, Zeus or Futura 2000 have exhibited here. V1 has gained international recognition through the work of young Danish artists who express themselves by confronting punk culture and politics. An essential stopover for those who want to discover Danish urban art!
