L'ESCAPADE
Restaurant open on Sundays and Mondays offering homemade fries in Luc-sur-Mer.
Good, it is definitely an advantage not to open at night, but being open on Sunday and Monday even during the off-season. It is sad to be on the coast on a rainy Sunday night, especially in November, so we appreciate the prospect of a good meal in the warmth of the only restaurant that opens its doors to us! On the other hand, you will need to improve the cooking in order to retain its clientele. The mussels are very average, the home fries are not homemade, and the fish fillet of the day with its cream is just okay. Even the lemon cream, although creamy, is not up to par: the caramel sugar that covers it is cold, unfortunately. But the cider comes from Daufresne, directly from the Auge country, which is a good point.
