Ô FEU DE BOIS
In the "good little shots from behind the bundles" series, this maquis-courtyard for initiates is an African "gargote", without music to break eardrums nor noisy altercations: one is rather in the intimacy, between the terrace of the villa or the cosy interior. The service is attentive (even if pâââdon you have to leave time to prepare the dishes!) Mum's cooking on the menu: n'dolé, n'domba, smoked and braised chicken, squid and gambas with ginger, smoked chicken with chilli pepper, partridge kédjénou, Cameroonian allioko... served in generous quantities.
