Chez Hao is a small, colorful and cheerful street-side gargote that is always busy at mealtimes. Run by a team of women in the kitchen, the restaurant has a small air-conditioned room and a terrace cut off from the street by a hedge of trees. On the plate are Vietnamese specialties: spring rolls, nems, ha kao, bobun, curries, stuffed crab, as well as grouper with pineapple, pork with caramel... Prices are reasonable and the flavors don't disappoint. Fast service and a friendly atmosphere. The ideal address for a nice little meal on the go.

Chez Hao est un petit spot incontournable des nuitées abidjanaises, quand la sortie s'annonce imminente et que le temps nous fait défaut et que nous avons envie de manger vite/vite/vite. Situé en bordure de voie, le restaurant propose tous les classiques de la cuisine sino-vietnamienne adapté à nos palais compassés. Entre les nems, le crabe et les beignets de crevette, c’est presque l’idéal pour un diner sur le pouce quand vous ne souhaitez pas affronter maquis ou restaurant libanais déjà pris d’assaut. Un lieu de passage comme une trainée de lumière entre deux rendez-vous impromptues mélangeant les genres : jeunes en goguettes, vieux cadres fatigués et sportifs de retour de salle. Les prix sont plus que correctes et l’expérience sans être renversante vous procure le bien-être de l’habitude en attendant mieux.
