Le Wafou is a hotel with hut rooms built in traditional adobe, and a fine dining experience in Abidjan, thanks to its enchanting, green setting beside a beautiful swimming pool and an interior renovated in 2022. It's the ideal spot for a drink, a cool business lunch in the tropical garden or a romantic dinner. Chef François Quesnel offers an "express menu" and an "all-in-one" plate at a low price at lunchtime, or à la carte dishes of international cuisine blended with Ivorian inspirations. Le Wafou fait partie des vieux de la vieille en matière de restaurants à visiter ne serait ce que pour son cadre unique. L'architecture est vraiment surprenante, entre case géante , cabane coincée dans les arbres surplombant la piscine et arbre tentaculaire arbitrant le bar, le tout avec vue sur la lagune. La nuit le cadre est presque mystérieux, entre ombre et lumières avec des tables disséminées à droite à gauche et invitant aux confidences. La cuisine est francaise, clasique mais efficace et l'on est jamais decu. Proposition de menu de très bon rapport qualité/prix. Une très bonne escale, en route pour l'aéroport par exemple.
