MAQUIS UNDER THE TREE
A pleasant bar well known by Babi's gasmen, the Under the tree is worth the detour first of all for its mascot, a magnificent hundred-year-old rubber tree with aerial roots surrounding the terrace. Under these impressive branches, one can peacefully sip a beer, a cocktail, flambé shots or an Elijah, a beer freshly served in a hollowed out pineapple. Excellent and affordable African dishes are available for lunch or dinner. Recommended on soccer nights, when a giant screen is installed in the open air. A slice of life typically Ivorian.
