It is the largest festival of contemporary music in Ivory Coast which takes place in Abidjan every year. Not to be missed!
FEMUA, Festival des Musiques Urbaines d'Anoumabo (a district of Abidjan), was launched in 2008 on the initiative of Salif Traoré of Magic System. It is the biggest contemporary music festival in Côte d'Ivoire. Among other things, it was created to give the poorest sections of the population access to concerts, and has enabled the rehabilitation of hospitals and orphanages, donations to refugees and the construction of several schools. The 2023 edition has invited Ivorian stars such as Didi B, as well as Booba and Ferre Gola (DRC) and Baaba Maal (Senegal).
