The Gersma (Abidjan Underwater Studies and Research Group) is the only diving club in Côte d'Ivoire. Sea trips are mainly on wrecks, of which a good ten are off the coast of Abidjan, with depths ranging from 17 to 37 meters. The club also goes on trips to Le Bélier, a former oil platform off Grand-Bassam, which offers spectacular dives amidst tuna, jacks, barracudas, carp, etc..
