OFFICE IVOIRIEN DES PARCS ET RESERVES
Office responsible for managing and providing useful information on eight national parks and six nature reserves.
The Ivorian Office of Parks and Reserves (OIPR) has its headquarters in Cocody. It deals with the management of national parks and can be a useful source of information before venturing into one of the country's national parks or reserves. It manages a total of eight national parks and six nature reserves. Not all of these protected areas can be visited, but some are a must, such as the Taï National Park, classified by UNESCO for its preserved tropical primary forest.
