A little history to start with! On the north bank of the Liffey, Dublin Woollen Mills is an iconic Dublin building that was home to a famous garment factory from 1888 to 2012. Bringing this vast historic building back to life was a real challenge, and one that has been successfully met by a restaurant that has seen things through: four floors and a rooftop terrace overlooking the Liffey and the Ha'penny Bridge. This gastro-pub, which describes itself as a friendly "eating house" that prepares everything on the spot, is a real find.

Food is OK, but nothing to justify the prices.
Service, ambiance and the views of the bridge is what makes this place popular.

Overpriced, mandatory service charge, no atmosphere in upstairs seating area, set menu for kids rather than being able to choose. Below average, waffles tasted like cheap toaster packet waffles and not the norm for a €20 dish. Feels like tourist trap. Over €50 for only 2 brunch dishes and childrens set menu.... No coffee, extra drinks or extra food ordered.

Great restaurant. Try the Strip sirloin the reduction sauce is fantastic and the steak the best I had in Dublin. Apple crumble with ice creamer was fantastic.

Breakfast special was appalling. And over priced, bread slice, mashed avocado, half egg covered in a mountain of cream cheese and white sauce. Disgusting and unedible.. really terrible food.
