The menu is good, the food is average, however it is relatively priced €€ "compared to the taste and standard."
There are no vegetables ???? available with the different menu. There are no variety of sources for their chicken wings, although the location is good, and the staff team are great with the services rendered, the food itself can not pass the litmus test of a repeat visit. In my own opinion, it is basic and just meet the average pass mark.
There is a lot of room for improvement in the menu. Some vegetables should be introduced to the menu list, and a variety of sources will not do the restaurant any harm.
The atmosphere is lovely, both at the restaurant and the bar, and the drink menu had a lot of good options.
The service was pretty good too.
I went here to have dinner with my boyfriend and we booked for 8pm, we ended up waiting 30 minutes and got our table later than expected...But the staff were doing there best so in the end it all worked out.
We booked a table for Friday night and reviewed the menus with the lady on the front desk. The waiter that looked after us Vinny was great but we were disappointed that they withdrew one of the menus and then lied that it was not available on a Friday.
Not cool as they had shared the menu at time of booking.
I've been to this place frequently since pre-covid time when it was still Taste upstairs, but since 2023, the service got a lot worst. After last night, I doubt that I'll ever come back.
1. Extremely slow service
- We had to wait over 1 HOUR for our drinks.
We ordered a glass of wine and mocktails at the beginning and they only arrived over 1 hour later after asking multiple times.
- Main courses also arrived 1 hour after order. We basically sat there waiting for 45mins after starters with no drinks, no food.
2. Portion got cut in half, price unchanged
- Crab mayonnaise: back in 2021/2022, the portion included 2 halves of the avocado filled with crab mayonnaise. You can still see it if you dig up some photos here from back then that customers posted. From last year, they only give you 1 half now. And yes, the price is still the same.
3. Overcrowded restaurant with terrible seating
They tried to squeeze in as many tables as possible, which is such a disgrace for the price they charge. We got a tiny table for 2 at the door with 1 seat stuck out of the way and constantly got kicked on when customers and staff walk past.
All off these are not a 1-time thing. Few months ago, we also had to wait really long for food to arrive but the waiter/manager back then (basement area) was apologetic and gave us a free round of drink while waiting, so we thought it was just a bad day for them. This time, it got a lot worst and they still charged us full for a service that was only half delivered.
Como muchos lugares nos dieron hora para llegar, las 21’15h, comenzamos a cenar a las 22’00h, por ese motivo no le pongo las 5 estrellas.
Quiero entender que era un día donde hubo mucha afluencia y algo les falló, pues un restaurante donde reservas y tiene distribuidas las mesas y horas debería ser para que la atención sea la adecuada en calidad y servicio.
La comida excelente, eso hay que reconocerlo. La mezcla de ingredientes y la manera de cocinar hace sus platos únicos en mi opinion.
La atención de los camareros muy buena. La que nos atendió fue encantadora y estuvo muy atenta.
La cuenta es alta y eso también se relaciona con el buen servicio. Espero que sirva para que las reservas se atiendan en tiempo.
Recomendado y volveremos.
