The food was so delicious! Definitely try the soups there. Lamb shepherds pie was very delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Disappointed on service, price and portions.
Michelin? I doubt

Overrated and overpriced. The worse experience of 5 magnificent days in Dublin. They call starter one slice, ONE, of smoked salmon, at 16 euros. I guess the salmon got the 1st class flight himself from Norway to Dublin. OUTRAGEOUS. I don't mind to pay for excellent food and experience. I saw the menu before my visit and I was aware about the prices. But I want to pay for the food not for the idea of it...

Authentische und abwechslungsreiche küche. Hochwertige Zutaten, feiner Wein und sehr freundlicher Service.

I was welcomed like I was family! Nice views overlooking the park. The mushroom starter with the quail egg is exquisite. The cod was perfectly cooked with that subtle crisp edge. Really loved the upside down cheesecake - I was scraping the jar for more!

This starter that I ordered with mushrooms was absolutely amazing. Steak cooked to perfection and these little coil potatoes, I wish there were more of them on the plate.. so good!!

Fantastic service from Andre and his team.
The dining room is very attractive with amazing views of Trinity college ‘s playing fields. Great menu.

Food was high quality and had a well balanced flavor. Even the items I had doubts I would appreciate surprised me. Service was friendly. Room is a bit chilly in winter next to the window. Prices match the quality.

Had a lovely lunch while vacationing in Dublin. We booked well in advance. Staff was superb. Cozy atmosphere and excellent food.

Not a pleasant experience last night at The Pig's Ear. Overpriced food of poor quality. The impression is that they want to present themselves as a high-end restaurant, but the dishes offered besides being small portions are tasteless. Of a table of 10 people, no one was satisfied! Not recommended!

Fabulous restaurant with a little shop near by for make-at-home bread or packaged soups. We enjoyed the creativity in the menu and the professional service. A treat of an evening.

I was looking forward to our Christmas lunch here as I hadn't been before, but was pretty disappointed overall. I have actually never been anywhere serving such tiny portions. Starter was a musroom broth, which arrived cold, and the venison main was just a tiny little blob in the middle of an empty plate. Still hungry after we left, which is not what you're looking for in a Christmas meal.

Christmas night from work. Venue was great with different dining areas on different levels which added a sense of privacy to our night out.

Staff prepared a vegetarian that was not on the menu for one of our party.

Great service

Great spot for a treat. Food was great and genuinely interesting. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Also a decent atmosphere without being too crowded.
Highly recommend

We recently went for a family occasion. It has the wow factor. Wow, this is expensive. Food was ok but did not justify the high prices. Shepherds pie is Shepherds pie no matter how much they charge and it was in a very small bowl with no side vegetables. Staff were polite but didn't engage. Nice place but not one to return to.

We came in for a glass of wine and a small bite to eat. The waiter came down after we had ordered and gotten our wine and bread, and asked if we were ready to order the main. A bit confused we told him we were fine, and would just have the glass. He kept insisting we HAD to order a menu. We insisted we wouldn't, as that had not been clear. In the end they reluctantly let us be, until the bill came and the manager came down and told us they would never have let us in if they knew we were only having a glass of wine, and neither would any other restaurant, and we should have told them that before sitting down.

I've lived in Dublin for four years, and sat in many a restaurant, and it had never been a problem. It wasn't even a busy night, and there were loads of tables around us free.

Around the food, my experienced was limited to bread and butter, but the butter was hard as stone which is not what you would expect from a place masquerading as a fine dining experience.

Excellente cuisine traditionnelle, service impeccable… Tout y était au top. Ce resto à Dublin mérite absolument une visite.
