This excellent and award winning Nepalese restaurant is a must in Temple Bar and Dublin. The menu offers a wide range of dishes typical of this region of Asia that will delight your taste buds. We recommend the famous monkfish tareko with fish, chicken tandoori or bandel tareko with pork, chicken or duck. Moreover, the portions are copious and refined and the wine list is really impressive. In short, in a friendly and family atmosphere, you will enjoy yourself!

Food may be fine for non Indians and so this comment and experience may not apply to ones nor well versed with Indian food. It was without any taste or flavor! No salt even and so lets not get to other spices. Asked for pickle but they didn’t have any! Gave some tomato chutney which was supposed to be a little spicy but sadly it was not. Asked for some lime/lemon hoping that will revive the dishes but alas that was not to be! The deconstructed samosa chaat was so basic and little in quantity that charging more than 10 euros for it is too much! Same goes for the papad! Garlic naan was fine! Service is fine but we could not offer our honest response in person as other guests were too close and it wouldn’t have been fair to them to hear our views. Extremely overpriced for what you offer! Would highly recommend those with basically sound expectations of Indian food to avoid this place or at least carry your own achaar to compensate!

The service was good. but the food was just ok, I expected a lot more for the high price and some reviews. But I have to say that what really bothered me was the volume of the music, which was very loud throughout the entirety of our dinner.

I’ve been coming here since 2004 and I’ve never left a review. It’s my go to spot in town for very reliable service, great food and a wine list that would put anywhere to shame!
