According to Dubliners, Zaytoon has the best kebabs in the capital. If they are more expensive than the Parisian kebabs, the sandwiches proposed here are however quite consistent and especially of better quality. You can also opt for the Persian specialty, the kubideh, excellent meat brochettes. There is also a branch on Lower Camden Street. On the spot or to take away, this is a good option to get your strength back, between two pubs in Temple Bar during a long evening of celebration.

Lamb was dry and undercooked, kebabs were burnt a bit with too much salt in it.
Zaytoon used to be stellar - but now the donner is not fresh and way overpriced. When asked where the Donner was, they said it was already pre-cut. This is a bizarre and unnecessaryshortcut. €18 for a kebab meal is very expensive, especially when it is not with freshly cooked meat and the portion is a lot smaller than it used to be.
Zaytoon used to be a regular late night favourite, always packed with people and amazing quality kebabs - I hope they can get things back to the high standards from the past.
