Zaytoon offers a taste of Persia with dishes that are rich and satisfying. The service is commendable, with staff who are both welcoming and efficient. However, the prices are on the higher side, which might give pause to those seeking value alongside quality. A good choice for occasional indulgence in authentic Persian cuisine.

Got Lamb and Chollo Kebabs,
Lamb was dry and undercooked, kebabs were burnt a bit with too much salt in it.

I visited here twice in the last couple of months and sorry to say I was disappointed both times.
Zaytoon used to be stellar - but now the donner is not fresh and way overpriced. When asked where the Donner was, they said it was already pre-cut. This is a bizarre and unnecessaryshortcut. €18 for a kebab meal is very expensive, especially when it is not with freshly cooked meat and the portion is a lot smaller than it used to be.
Zaytoon used to be a regular late night favourite, always packed with people and amazing quality kebabs - I hope they can get things back to the high standards from the past.

During holidays in Ireland, visited this place for diner with family. Really enjoyed the chicken and Lamb, service was good. Highly recommend Doogh which is a flavoursome butter milk

Delicious food. Prices are reasonable. And the most importantly, halal.

Really enjoyed it. Thought it might be just a place where people go after a night out, but the food is actually very good. Love that red sauce (red pepper sauce, maybe?).

Very tasty, good portions, and to a large extent, quite healthy too.

The wings were delicious, absolute yum. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

The lamb shish is flavorful and the portions are big. Paid 20€ for it. Also, the Saffron ice cream is pretty delicious and the taste is refreshing. Overall I can recommend this place

a good late night option to deal with the hangover but nothing more. Quite expensive and I don't know how high the quality is. The place is quite spartan, convenient because it is in the temple bar

It was a first time when we tried a Persian food and we love it. We decided to try 3 different meals to share and saffron ice cream for dessert. Chelo kebab was so delicious and tasty, rice was the best that I have ever tried. Saffron ice cream we didn’t like it, but at least we have tried it. There is no alcohol served in the restaurant. We got a table with high chairs but we’re different sitting places for different amount of the people. Highly recommended and definitely we will come back.

Way too expensive, a small lamb shish without fries or soda at 16 euro! The regular one at 19!! You're out of your mind

Well since 2011 I’m coming to zaytoon almost towice a month .
Last time I visit today 07/03/2024.
As usual I said hello , slam but few of staff two beers guys told me why you slam to us we are not Muslim . It is very strange a rude answer.never happend . The guy name is Adnan is stay bulling . Which very unfortunate and unacceptable.
I orders my food I always come with family . My wife was with me . We are really like the food but don’t like staff behavior.
Should to take some actions against .
Thanks

Delivered on Deliveroo. Food is expensive but the overall quality of the food is second to none. You get what you pay for. 3 stars only. 1 star lost because some clever person decided to put my garlic cheese chips in the same bag as my ice cold cans! Another star lost because of one of my breads was burnt, the chef knew this but still served it anyway. However. I would return because the actual food is decent sizes and absolutely full of flavour.

Just visited Zaytoon in February on a trip to Dublin - here was my experience!

POSITIVES
- this is a well done Persian restaurant that’s open late; the warmth of the Kurdish/irish manager hits you right as you order! I came in 30 minutes before closing and they serviced me like I was at the beginning of the shift!
- I ordered the lamb doner - granted this was one of the few things they had left. I rarely get lamb but not much else was open so I bit the bullet. This was arguably some of the best lamb I’ve ever had - succulent, melt in your mouth lamb (I will be dreaming about this lamb now).
- Loved how many veggies they gave you on the doner - very fresh as well (and mind you I came in towards closing!)
- They were swift at preparing my order and everything was piping hot
- Even though I came close to closing time - they did not kick me out or rush me! I appreciated that :)

CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
- It’s 17.90 euros for my entire meal - portion size was pretty decent and the food was excellent so I don’t mind paying; however if you’re on a budget may not be for you.
- It’s a bit chilly in the restaurant (it could have just been where I’m sitting lol).

CONCLUSION
I would totally come back in heartbeat! If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or something to have with family - come here! Bonus point is its excellent service AND it’s halal!

Cuidado, te timan metiéndote cosas como si fuera en el menú y no tienen ningún tipo de intención en entenderse por la barrera del idioma

Been here many times only because it’s close to the pubs and because their food it’s tasty!
My choice is Classic Koobideh- with minced beef and lamb with herbs and salad, with bread option. It reminds me of Adana Turkish kebab, which I really love.
Their fries are very thin and crunchy.
The garlic sauce is very garlicky.
The medium size is a big portion,so be careful when ordering.
The only thing why I’m not giving 5 * is because the place is not really clean.
We had to clean with our wet wipes, the seats and the table that we sat at.

Went to this place ordered 3 lamb kebab meal and 3 extra plain naan bread for take away came back home open the bag and I see they didn’t give me the 3 extra naan bread and I checked receipt and clearly she charged me €9 for the naan bread but she never gave me the naan after I keep calling them but never answered the phone I called plus 20 times and no answer so disappointed. Them food is ok but service is zero.

bonne adresse pour une halte gourmande à Dublin. Tout y est un régal. J'y mange souvent, je n'ai jamais été déçu.
