I will be honest, my food experience in Dublin has been average. But Pichet totally changed my opinion on the food scene in Dublin. Pichet serves French food (I think), and yeah it’s on the level of stuff you can get in Paris. It’s good. It’s really good. I had a date here with my girlfriend, and everything was amazing. We got scallops, duck, and a lot of other stuff, where everything was amazingly seasoned and cooked. Even the fries we ordered were amazing. The staff here is also super friendly, and also super helpful when it comes to recommendations, and we had a great time here. They also have a great wine selection, and we got a bottle which was also decently priced. The food here is also fairly reasonably priced, considering the quality you get. And the restaurant is super pretty, so make sure to take photos. All in all, if the staff were speaking French, you would think you were in the 11th arrondisement.

The service was awesome and definitely world class. Loved the food. The decor was classy and simple, you can definitely feel the French vibe.

Went there for a business dinner with a colleague. Excellent service and really great food. Had Gambas as starter and fish for main course, both tasted really great. Wine menu was quite good too.

Excellent menu - superb choice.
The food was excellent - great quality ingredients - high caliber of cooking skill - the flavours were fantastic.
The sauce with the lamb was so, so good.
Unfortunately, there were a few downsides.
(1) The "croquettes" were poor - the inside was too wet, the outside was not crispy enough and had a "burnt" taste to them.
Personally, I would have described them more as savoury beignet's - becasue they definitely were not croquettes.
(2) whilst the staff were very competent and very good - there was just a little air of arrogance for my liking. I believe it would be my decision if a dish is nice rather than a staff member calling to the desk to tell me that the food is great...!!!
(3) but most important of all - the hot food jut was not hot - it was a tad above luke warm - therefore we had to rush eating our food before it went cold - which really takes the gloss off the meal and overall experience.
I truly hate when chefs/restaurants can not serve hot food hot - it really is so disappointing.
Such a pity - because the cooking skill and food flavours are truly amazing.
Would I recommend this restaurant - yes - but ONLY if you are happy to eat luke warm food.
