HÔTEL LE COSY * *
Hotel with a terrace offering family rooms in the city centre near the market and the beach.
This hotel, dynamically relaunched by its new owners, is among the facilities of the station and its renewal is warmly welcomed. The location is ideal and the institution charged with history: Many pictures illustrate its past in the hall or on the staircase. Built in 1876, it served as a makeshift hospital during the First World War and then as a garage, before regaining its original function to host guests and tourists. The lounge bar on the ground floor is open to everyone, and the terrace, on sunny days, offers a few moments of relaxation for a coffee or drink (waiting to enjoy a seafood platter in one of the restaurants around or to eat Italian, just in front of Mamma Mia). Downstairs, the breakfast room is completely renovated in English cottage style… rustic to wish. The 18 rooms spread over three floors have also been renovated. The stairs, which don’t lack charm, are true to the original design. It is true that there is no lift. Don’t look for the latest trendy fashion, here it is simple but neat and comfortable. All rooms are equipped with a bath, and those facing the street (rest assured there is double glazing) are decorated with small wrought iron balconies. Family rooms can accommodate between and children. A good address for a family stay in the city centre, close to the market and the beach.
