SAN MATTEO
This year we can still admire the Exhibition of Cartelami (rare stage construction of the nineteenth century) in this beautiful baroque church built on the ancient ruins of a church of the fourth century. On each of the two bells, a cross is turned into the direction of the mistral and the superdict to protect the sailors of the storms. The interior, in the form of a Greek cross, has a crucifix of Andrea de Ferrari and the Pentecost of Castellino. In the Dell 'Assunta chapel, a painting dedicated to the Assunta of the painter Bernardo Strozzi (1581-1644). In the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine oratory (1615), a painting of the baroque painter Domenico Piola (1627-1703) recently restored. A beautiful wooden sculpture (Giovanni Maragliano) dedicated to Saint Marie Madeleine has been preserved since the eighteenth century. All news on the Facebook page: Parrocchia San Matteo Laigueglia.

Laigueglia nous a paru plus intéressante que la ville voisine d'Alassio.
L'église baroque est une des curiosités de cette halte.
