In the 1950s, the writer Ernest Hemingway had his table here. He also suggested to the painter Mario Berrino (former owner of the café) that the wall of the public garden be covered with small tiles signed by celebrities. Since 2014, Massimo Ferrara, also the owner of the Bistrot Mozart, has revived the place. The Terazza Martini hosts parties and festive events with cocktails and live music from 7pm to midnight. Also, the breakfast at Caffé Roma is legendary!
