IL MURETTO
Wall of the small public garden bearing the signatures of many idols of the cinema and the song.
This is the wall of the small public garden, dotted with ceramics and bearing the signatures of numerous stars. The idea came from the owner of the Caffé Roma opposite, painter Mario Berrino, who in 1953 decided to stick the tiles of his establishment, signed by the prestigious artists he had welcomed, including Ernest Hemingway in 1951. Glued on at night to avoid any municipal protests, they were a great success with holidaymakers. We spend hours walking along it, looking for the names of celebrities including our compatriots Jacques Prévert and Jean Cocteau.
