Sind heute zufällig an diesem Restaurant vorbeigekommen. Äußerliche Aufmachung hat einen angezogen und weil es regnete, entschieden wir dort zu essen. Wir wurden zügig begrüßt und einem Tisch zugewiesen, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten . Wir saßen noch gar nicht richtig, hatten wir bereits Wasser, Haussekt und Brot serviert. Dann wurde uns die Speisekarte gereicht und gefühlte 25 Sekunden später wurden wir gefragt, ob wir gewählt haben. Weitere Sekunden später kam ein weiterer Kellner und fragte, ob er uns helfen könne. Nachdem wir uns entschieden hatten, kam nach drei Minuten die Vorspeise. Während wir unsere Vorspeise genossen, fiel uns diese extreme Unruhe und Hastigkeit der gefühlten 8 Kellner auf. Das Ambiente war ansprechend, aber es gab keine Musik und keine Gemütlichkeit. Man hat das Gefühl vermittelt bekommen, dass es hier ums schnelle Geld geht. Kaum waren Gäste aufgestanden, wurde in Windeseile mit drei Mann der Tisch abgeräumt und neu gedeckt, was die Hastigkeit unterstrich. Durch die offene an sich schöne Küche, sorgte es für eine zusätzliche Geräuschkulisse, die Gemütlichkeit verhinderte. Die Hauptspeise saß uns im Nacken, man wollte uns die Teller der Vorspeise bereits unter unseren Nasen wegziehen, obwohl erst 5 Minuten vergangen waren. Die Teller waren weg und schwups kam das Hauptgericht. Und für so ein hochpreisiges Restaurant war der Geschmack nicht ansatzweise so gut, wie man es erwarten würde. Der Wein war gut. Nach dem enttäuschenden Essen, wollten wir kein Dessert und nahmen einen Espresso. Das war ein Fehler. Wir zahlten, auf die Rechnung mussten wir komischerweise warten und verabschiedet wurden wir auch nicht. Kein schönes Erlebnis und auch nicht zu empfehlen.

One of the most memorable lunches we’ve had. Nothing was too much trouble. My wife asked about 2 different vegetarian dishes she was contemplating and the waiter kindly offered to make half & half so she could experience both! That is not something that happens typically. The owner Marco and his family run an incredible operation and worth a visit next time you are in Genova ❤️????????

Great local menu and feel.

This place was absolutely exceptional, the food was amazing and the staff were extraordinary. The first impressions were fine dining but we were not dressed for the occasion. The staff made us feel very at ease and gave us great recommendations!

We wanted pesto pasta from the region and we ordered off menu as they said they could accommodate at the time. This little touch and detail was something that usually doesn’t happen in restaurants, the food was absolutely sublime and the wine was very tasty.

They pride themselves in creating a relaxed dining environment, they come to the table and finish serving the dish in front of your table. This was very impressive to watch and also some dishes came with their own twist.

The owner/manager came around to ask how we found the service and also where we were from. This was very friendly and made us feel like we were welcomed as a customer! Great experience and we will be back! :)

P.S lemon and Basil sorbet was incredible

Nachdem ich die unglaublich guten Bewertungen gesehen habe, war ich mit meinem Mann Feuer und Flamme hier zu Speisen. Leider wurde meine positive Stimmung getrübt. Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und bekamen sofort einen Tisch, die Bedienung war auch freundlich. Wir setzten uns und bekamen zwar einen Willkommensdrink, aber keine Restaurantgeschichte zu hören. Es schien eher so als ob gar kein Interesse am Kontakt mit uns bestehen würde. Während wir die Speisekarte ansahen, kam der Kellner ungeduldig zu uns und wollte schnellstmöglich die Bestellung aufnehmen, Zeitdruck vorprogrammiert. Wir bestellten uns schließlich Wein und jeweils eine Hauptspeise, da wir nicht so hungrig waren. Es gab Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten und eigentlich eine Lasagne mit Pesto. Gebracht wurde statt der Lasagne einfache Nudeln mit Pesto, die lecker waren. Die Spaghetti jedoch waren kaum gesalzen und die Meeresfrüchte haben keinen frischen Eindruck gemacht (vielleicht Tiefkühltruhe?). Es war ganz gut, aber definitiv keine 28€ pro Speise wert. Eigentlich wollten wir unseren Abend schön ausklingen lassen, stattdessen wollten wir einfach nur noch gehen, ohne Dessert, ohne irgendetwas.
Das Restaurant ist eher Schein als Sein.

A Genova per lavoro, scopro questo ristorante passandoci davanti. Non lo conoscevo e non appena accomodata all'interno, mi è stata raccontata la storia di questa famiglia di ristoratori.
Ambiente caldo, personale efficiente e cortese, e soprattutto sapori di altissimo livello che ti viene voglia di ordinare tutto il menu!!!!!

In esperienza in famiglia unica , rimarrà sempre un ricordo magnifico .
Dalla cura dei dettagli ai sapori di una volta ma trattati con grande eleganza.

Ristorante storico famoso in tutto il mondo per il suo famoso pesto e non solo è davvero da provare . Cucina a vista ambiente molto raffinato prezzi adeguati ed il proprietario Marco , gentilissimo .Consiglio ì dessert sono top.

Questo ristorante , nel cuore di Genova , propone piatti molto raffinati e di gusto dove il Pesto diventa vero protagonista

Un precioso restaurante con mucha historia, comimos de maravilla y la atención fue extraordinaria, de echo mañana volvemos !!!
Hoy tomamos spaguetti a la marinera y otro era una pasta fresca con Bogavante ambos estaban EXQUISITOS, y el postre de milhojas DELICIOSO, buen vino tanto blanco como tinto y una variedad de panes muy ricos acompañados de aceite de oliva muy rico!!
No es barato, pero el producto lo vale !!!

Tutto ottimo, bella la scelta del menù fisso per le coppie. Antipasti spettacolari, primi e secondi da sciogliersi in bocca e dessert condiviso veramente buono. Tutto accompagnato da vino selezionato per ogni portata.

Una deliziosa sorpresa nel centro di Genova. Location curata nei minimi particolari, elegante e accogliente . Ho adorato la cucina aperta e poter vedere gli chef preparare con premura i piatti. Carta dei vini ricercata, cibo di alta qualità e servizio all’altezza di tutto quanto. La millefoglie preparata al momento mi ha lasciata un ricordo nel cuore . Non vedo l’ora di tornare, San Valentino è vicino.

Classic but old-looking restaurant...needing refurbishment. Good, not exceptional food, only classic recipes. From a pretentious restaurant you expect top service. We ordered a steak tartar and a pasta carbonara. ...and 1) the carbonara arrived when the chef was only starting to prepare the tartar, and 2) it was already barely warm, so that I had to it it on the spot and then my wife ate her tartar when I had already finished...unpleasant...
And definitely not worth the 80 euros per person...
