This warm, historic family-run premises in the charming Piazza San Matteo, inside a 15th-century building, was founded as a wine cellar at the end of the 19th century. In 1925, it passed into the hands of the Migone family, and today boasts a treasure trove of over 800 labels! This is also where the restaurant was born, with a cuisine that has maintained the origins of regional recipes while introducing a touch of innovation. MIGONE is a Ligurian cuisine restaurant housed in an ancient 15th-century building in the heart of Genoa's historic center. It is located in Piazza San Matteo 4/6R, a famous and elegant tourist area of the city. The establishment was completely renovated and refurbished in 2001, but still retains its ancient style, with exposed wooden beams, slate tiles and Sicilian terracotta. It offers an exclusive and innovative menu, faithful to the flavors and aromas of tradition, but represented with originality according to the creativity of the chefs. You'll find a wide range of typical Ligurian specialties, based on fresh fish, as well as a series of creative dishes made with the finest ingredients, both marine and terrestrial. Take for example seafood starters, fish carpaccio, grilled meats, peasant soups... A choice of Italian cuisine will also delight your taste buds with pasta or risotto starters, meat specialties and homemade desserts.
