ANTICA OSTERIA DI VICO PALLA
If Van Dyck had his habits there, it is because the address had merit, a reputation that has been maintained to this day.
Just a stone's throw from Porto Antico, a historic osteria where you can enjoy fine fish cuisine. As far back as the 17th century, the same inn welcomed fishermen calling at Genoa. The cuisine is generous and the products are local. Try the stoccafisso (dried whiting fillets boiled with potatoes, tomato sauce and olives), said to be a favorite dish of painter Antoon van Dyck during his stay in Genoa in the 1620s.
